Platforms of Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying is a very prevalent problem in the world we live in today. The situations for someone to be a victim of cyber bullying are endless because of the amounts of platforms that are presented to people on the internet.  According to stopbullying.gov the most common platforms that you will see situations of cyber bullying occur on: Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), SMS (Texting, etc.), Instant Messaging, and email. This is very concerning because this creates the problem of trying to monitor all of the attacks towards people. This problem is happening all over the spectrum of ages but it is something that is all to common in the high school age of children in the world. According to a study performed by the National Center for Education Statistics and Bureau of Justice Statistics titled The 2014-2015 School Crime Supplement, nationally in the United States about 21% of all children from the ages of 12-18 experience cyber bullying.
